Kunsthaus NRW Kornelimünster (guided tour)

With its collection and changing exhibitions, the Kunsthaus NRW offers an insight into the past, present and future of art in North Rhine-Westphalia. The state has been supporting young artists since 1948, including Karl Otto Götz, Ernst Wilhelm Nay, Günther Uecker, Gerhard Richter, Sigmar Polke, Katharina Sieverding, Andreas Gursky, Gregor Schneider and many more. The Kunsthaus is located in the magnificently painted rooms of the old imperial abbey of Kornelimünster. The abbots kept Jesus relics from the treasure of Charlemagne. Guided tours are available on the exciting history of the abbey as well as on the art collection. 

Please note: Outside opening hours (Thu – Sun), guided tours can be arranged with a surcharge of € 15.
